The competition to design the Bogota's Botanical Garden Tropicario brings a huge challenge. Ensure sustainable rooms that can contain the climate and environment needed for the survival of several nature species.

 

The building is located in a way that the visitors can go through it very clear. The idea that every room show on the outside what is inside has born, thus volumes have different scales and glass becomes the main material for the building, with different treatments and filters it gives us the versatility to achieve microclimates within the project.

 

Once inside, the circulation allows the visitors to get lost in each room and be filled with the atmosphere letting all senses perceive the essence of the place.
